Botanical Wellbeing Workshop

Jemima in the woods, Malby Street Market

In the heart of Maltby Street Market you will find our Botanical Wellbeing Workshop, an enchanting space beneath the old railway arches in which to connect with the natural world, learning new skills in design, artistry and craft, whilst nurturing your wellbeing. We are experts in floral design and horticulture offering fun, educational and professional workshops in all things botanical. Our workshops are available for all levels of learning. Simply enquire for tailor made packages if you have alternative specifications to those options timetabled.

Our workshops aim to inspire with nature and align with your creativity. This approach creates a relaxing environment for you to learn in, increasing your confidence in general, and particularly in design and the use of botanicals. In small workshop groups you are able to connect with others experience and creativity making for a supportive and inspirational opportunity here at the Botanical Wellbeing Workshop. The botanical materials in use here can be soothing to work with, even meditative to arrange, and our plant displays are sharing a little extra oxygen with you also. The comfort of knowing that our resources are sustainable and given insight to the provenance of these botanicals keeps us mindful and positive in our contribution to protecting our natural environment. Whilst being involved in fun and experimental activity, you will also find this an absorbing space in which to slow down and unwind from your busy schedule. This offers you the space and connection with natural materials to reduce those stress levels and rejuvenate. You will notice very quickly how your wellbeing is enhanced at the Botanical Wellbeing Workshops.

We are committed to sustainable practices encouraging the use of foraged and recycled materials in addition to an environmentally conscious use of nature’s evolving supply of seasonal cut flowers, foliage and plants.

We are neighbours to a variety of wonderful artisan producers plus many eateries / drinkeries, so please factor these into your visit. The market is in full swing on Sat 10am-5pm & Sun 11am-4pm, and during the week there are several options to shop, dine out or takeaway in the daytime & evenings.
